0.1 Ohm to 9999.9 Ohm Variable Resistor

A high-fidelity variable resistor based on decade switching architecture, offering discrete resistance values from 0.1 ohm to 9999.9 ohm. The unit implements five independent range selections to optimise resolution and avoid unnecessary digit clutter. Internally structured as 10 × (1000 + 1000 + 100 + 10 + 1 + 0.1) ohm, it delivers stable, non-drifting values ideal for calibration checks and comparative circuit analysis. Housed in blue ABS for durability and identification, it functions reliably at temperatures from 5 to 35°C and humidity levels between 25% and 80%. Rated for 0.5W continuous load and featuring ≥50 MΩ insulation resistance, it complies with standard low-power educational equipment requirements. Contains only the main unit.
