Installation is straightforward: power down the device, desolder the original crystal, place the module with precise pin alignment, and reflow—no trimming, no calibration, no software changes. It serves high-accuracy timing needs in HF/VHF transceivers (FT-817, FT-857, FT-897), network analyser local oscillators, inertial navigation subsystems, and metrology-grade calibration sources.
