10000W Thyristor AC Voltage Regulator

Dimensions: Not specified in source. Weight: Not specified. Max power rating: 10000W for pure resistive loads only. Input voltage range: AC 110V–230V. Output voltage adjustable continuously from 0V up to near input voltage level. Built with bidirectional ultra-high-power thyristors rated at 100A. Requires direct series connection into the live line (no neutral or zero-fire wire needed). Simple operation via front-panel potentiometer knob — adjust light intensity, motor speed, heating temperature or voltage output in real time. Designed specifically for high-power resistive applications including industrial electric furnaces, immersion water heaters, high-wattage incandescent/halogen lighting arrays, and large AC resistive heating elements. Also suitable for speed control of universal motors where load remains predominantly resistive. Not intended for standard household plug-in devices. For inductive or capacitive loads (e.g., transformers, compressors, VFD-fed motors), derating is essential — maximum recommended load is ≤50% of 10000W due to high inrush currents (2–4× running current at startup). Always ensure adequate heat dissipation and use with appropriate external fusing and isolation switches.
