1000Mbps Powered Ethernet Splitter

This compact Ethernet splitter (8.5 × 5.5 × 2.8 cm, 65 g) uses high-grade black plastic for thermal stability and mechanical resilience. It supports all common twisted-pair Ethernet categories — Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7, and Cat8 — and maintains full 1000 Mbps line rate on both outputs when used with certified cabling and Gigabit-capable endpoints. Its active electronics require continuous 5V USB power (provided by the included 80 cm cable) to drive signal conditioning, impedance matching, and noise suppression circuits — critical for sustaining link integrity across varying cable lengths and environmental conditions. The device operates strictly at the physical layer, preserving Ethernet frame structure and timing, and is intended for deployment with a corresponding coupler at the far end (sold separately) to complete the 1:2 split path. Suitable for shared broadband connections in flats, home studios, or small business reception areas where space and permission for new cabling are constrained.
