12 Position Beech Wood Thread Rack

A precision-crafted embroidery floss rack made exclusively from solid beech wood — no veneers, laminates, or composite layers — finished with fine-grit sanding for consistent texture and edge safety. It contains 12 identical, parallel slots milled to 5mm depth and 7mm width, calibrated to cradle rectangular plastic thread cards without wobble or overhang. Positioned centrally at the rear base is a sewn-in pin cushion filled with polyester fibre and covered in tightly woven cotton twill — chosen for needle grip and abrasion resistance. This rack prioritises repeatability: every unit is checked for slot alignment and cushion adhesion before dispatch, ensuring dependable performance across batches — a key differentiator versus mass-produced alternatives with inconsistent tolerances.
