12V Wide-Angle Pet Immune Sensor

This 12V wired PIR motion sensor provides dependable intrusion detection with a wide 100° field of view and 12-metre range. Its optical system uses an optimised Fresnel lens to improve human IR signal capture, while dual-layer temperature compensation ensures stability across changing indoor conditions. The device meets stringent EMC standards — resisting interference up to 30V/m between 30MHz and 1000MHz — and includes protection against electrostatic discharge and nearby mobile devices. Power consumption remains low: under 10mA at standby, rising to 17mA during alarm activation. Pulse count and sensitivity are configurable via physical jumpers (1/2/3 pulses; L/H sensitivity), and the sensor is certified for pet immunity up to 20kg. Installation is straightforward within the recommended height range of 1.5–2.4m. Operating temperature spans -20°C to +40°C, with humidity tolerance up to 95% RH. Anti-white-light performance exceeds 10,000 lux. Requires connection to a compatible wired alarm system — not standalone. Constructed from impact-resistant plastic with integrated anti-tamper switch.
