1:48 Plastic Jet Assembly Kit

At 23 x 20 cm (9.06 x 7.87 inches) and 130 g (0.28 lbs), this plastic jet model balances realism with age-appropriate usability. Material compliance meets EN71-1/2/3 standards for mechanical, flammability and migration safety — verified for direct child contact. Precision tooling ensures consistent part geometry across production batches, so every kit delivers identical assembly behaviour regardless of random colour assignment. Six jet types — each with distinct planform and profile — reinforce visual discrimination and memory recall. Stickers feature bold outlines and saturated pigments visible under standard UK classroom lighting. Finished models retain structural integrity after repeated handling, supporting both active play and static display. Used successfully in early years settings across Greater Manchester and Birmingham, it serves dual roles: a scaffolded introduction to engineering principles and a catalyst for language-rich peer interaction — e.g., describing flight paths, naming parts or negotiating collaborative builds.
