1X4 SC APC PLC Optical Splitter

This 1×4 blade-style PLC optical splitter is engineered for single-mode fibre networks with SC/APC connectorisation. It complies with ITU-T G.671 and GR-1209-CORE specifications. Physical dimensions conform to standard PLC blade modules (approx. 40 × 4 × 6 mm); weight ~30 g; operating wavelength 1260–1650 nm; insertion loss ≤7.5 dB; return loss ≥55 dB; directionality ≥55 dB; spectral uniformity ≤0.6 dB; PDL ≤0.3 dB; WDL ≤0.6 dB; temperature stability ≤0.6 dB over -40°C to +85°C. Manufactured with silica-on-silicon PLC chip and all-glass fibre alignment for long-term repeatability. The device enables reliable 1-to-4 signal fan-out with minimal added loss and exceptional port-to-port consistency. Its SC/APC interface guarantees low-reflection mating with pre-terminated UK-standard drop cables and distribution fibres — avoiding the need for field polishing or adapter conversion. Commonly integrated into FTTH distribution points, enterprise LAN backbone nodes, smart building fibre infrastructures, and municipal broadband projects across the UK and EU — especially where compliance with OFCOM’s CP305 and EN 61300 test requirements is expected.
