2 Pc Foldable Colanders With Heatproof Handles

A practical 2-piece set of collapsible colanders designed for UK kitchens. Each unit features an extendable, heat-resistant handle system and a precision-punched 304 stainless steel mesh body. Fully extended dimensions: 24 cm diameter × 12 cm depth; folded thickness: only 5 cm. Weight per piece: ~280 g. Mesh aperture size: 3 mm — fine enough for berries and rice, open enough for fast drainage of pasta or boiled vegetables. Handles are constructed from impact-resistant PP core with dual-layer TPE overmoulding — soft yet firm, non-slip, and rated for continuous contact with water up to 100°C. The folding hinge mechanism is reinforced with stainless steel pins for long-term reliability and smooth operation. Use cases include rinsing fresh produce, draining boiled potatoes or carrots, separating cooked spaghetti, washing blueberries or raspberries, and straining rice before cooking. Folds flat for stacking in narrow cupboards, drawer dividers or under-shelf baskets — ideal for London studio flats, university housing, or motorhome kitchens.
