Two independent, self-contained piercing units — each comprising a compact actuation device fused with a fixed stainless steel stud and sealed in a sterile barrier pouch. Unit dimensions: 8.1 cm × 2.3 cm × 1.7 cm; total kit volume: 120 ml. Housing material: FDA-compliant polypropylene; stud material: surgical-grade 316L stainless steel (nickel-restricted). Alcohol pads: 2.5 cm × 2.5 cm cotton pads saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, sealed separately. No external power source or consumables needed.
