2-Piece Trim Head Spool Cap

Two replacement spool caps manufactured to replicate the form, fit and function of the original FLYMO caps used on 500, 700, 600HD and XT Power Plus trimmers. Dimensions: 62 mm OD, 8.5 mm central boss height, 1.2 mm clip wall thickness. Material: Polypropylene with added impact modifiers for resilience against cold brittleness and mechanical fatigue. Each cap weighs 18 g; total pack weight: 42 g. Serves as the essential top retention component — locking the spool in place while permitting controlled line extension during operation. Correct fit ensures the spool rotates concentrically, minimising line twist, uneven wear and feed hesitation. Works with standard FLYMO dual-line spools. Designed for practical UK usage: performs reliably after storage in garden sheds (with ambient humidity up to 85%) and functions consistently at temperatures ranging from early spring chill to late summer warmth.
