Product Description A 12v inverter can only be connected to a 12v battery (operating voltage range: 10.5v to 16v). When the voltage exceeds the operating voltage range, the inverter will automatically shut down due to either too low or too high voltage. The purpose of doing this is to prevent overvoltage from damaging the inverter or over-discharge from damaging the battery. When using a 12v cable in a car, please do not exceed 300w (for a 12v car). If the power exceeds this limit, please connect the battery output to the inverter otherwise, the car fuse will blow.
