2m Natural Hemp E27 Lamp Suspension

A 2-metre pendant suspension system built around ethically sourced, mechanically cleaned hemp rope and dual-strand tinned copper wiring. The E27 socket is securely anchored at the lower end, while the upper end presents stripped copper leads for direct connection to fixed wiring — no adaptors, converters or supplementary hardware required. Rope length is non-adjustable and factory-set at 2m (6.6ft), with weight varying between 273g and 1239g due to natural fibre density and ambient humidity at time of winding — all units meet minimum tensile strength thresholds (>15kg) per EN 60598-1 Annex D. Designed for integration into finished ceilings, it supports retrofit projects in Victorian terraces, new-build apartments, and commercial conversions alike. Requires professional installation per Part P of the UK Building Regulations. Bulb selection remains fully user-determined: warm white (2700K) LEDs recommended for ambient layers; clear vintage filaments preferred for focal points. Styling note: the unbleached hemp tone matures gracefully with age, deepening slightly under ambient light exposure — enhancing patina development without discolouration or brittleness.
