2m x 4m Impact-Absorbing Backstop Net

This 2-metre-high by 4-metre-wide backstop net is manufactured from durable polyethylene with 4mm-diameter support ropes and configurable mesh openings of 5 cm, 7 cm or 10 cm. Its fully machine-woven body ensures mechanical consistency and high tensile capacity, while overlocked rope edges eliminate progressive fraying — a common failure point in lower-spec nets subjected to wind, abrasion or repeated anchoring. Tested for all-season use, it performs reliably indoors and outdoors, maintaining integrity across rain, frost and moderate UV exposure. Engineered as a primary impact buffer, it absorbs and dissipates kinetic energy from fast-moving sports equipment — from footballs and hockey sticks to airborne skis and snowboards. Its principal deployment contexts include perimeter safety at UK and Alpine ski resorts, zoned training areas in multi-sport academies, and domestic garden boundaries where children’s play must coexist safely with adjacent buildings, driveways and glass installations. End users consistently report reduced maintenance downtime, fewer replacement cycles and measurable drops in accidental property damage — confirming its role as a functional, long-term safety solution rather than a temporary fix.
