BP5: Use with compatible M4 nuts for light spacing, alignment and enclosure work; check suitability before final fitting.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M4 x 500 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars for light-duty metric spacing, stand-offs and non-metallic fixing. M4 gives a slightly larger and easier-to-handle thread than M3 while staying compact enough for small assemblies. PTFE provides a low-friction, electrically insulating plastic thread with broad chemical compatibility in suitable environments. It is softer than metal, so it should be cut, clamped and tightened with care. The 500 mm length can be used for longer spacer runs or cut into shorter matched sections.
