BP5: Pair with matching metric nuts or compatible plastic hardware; confirm load, thread engagement and environment before use.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M6 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are supplied as 2 fully threaded metric plastic rods. The metre length gives room for longer spacer runs, custom cut lengths and adjustable nut positioning along the rod. PTFE brings low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical resistance in a lightweight non-metallic format. For best results, use correctly sized nuts and washers, avoid over-tightening the plastic thread and check that PTFE stiffness, load capacity and chemical compatibility suit the final assembly.
