304 SS Classic Julep Strainer

A traditionally proportioned julep strainer made entirely from 304 stainless steel—meeting EN 10088-1 standards for corrosion-resistant steels used in food processing. Dimensions: 10.5 cm bowl diameter, 12 cm overall length, 85 g weight. Surface finish is uniform, non-directional polish with no grain lines or visible machining marks. Designed for direct contact with ice, herbs, and spirits, its convex profile conforms precisely to standard UK mixing glasses and shaker tins. Its historical role spans American julep service—where it filters crushed ice and mint—and European absinthe preparation—where it positions sugar and regulates water dispersion. All available designs retain identical core specifications; visual differences are limited to subtle handle contours or rim thickness variations—all fully functional and interchangeable.
