304 SS M5 Ball Head Positioning Screws

Engineered for accuracy-critical mechanical positioning, these M5 × 8mm screws feature a ball-ended piston structure built from 304 stainless steel. They offer a 0.8mm thread pitch, 2.5mm hex socket drive, and a precision-machined 3mm ball with 1.1mm stroke. Their elastic deformation occurs predictably between 4 and 18 Newtons, supporting calibrated preload and tactile adjustment. Commonly applied in fixture design, sensor mounting, and modular tooling — especially where resistance to UK climate variability and workshop contaminants is essential.
