30W 6 Ohm Silk Dome Tweeter Set

This set includes two identical 1.5-inch high-frequency drivers built for accurate, fatigue-free treble reproduction. Specifications: 6 ohm nominal impedance, 30W power handling, 52mm panel diameter, 23mm height, 34mm cutout diameter, 45mm diagonal mounting hole distance, and 3mm panel thickness. Core elements consist of a black silk dome, neodymium (NdFeB) magnet structure, toothed pure aluminium heat sink, and ABS matte front panel. The NdFeB magnet enables higher motor force in a compact footprint, translating to greater efficiency and improved damping factor — crucial for clean high-frequency extension. The aluminium heat sink is mechanically bonded to the pole piece to maximise thermal conduction, reducing power compression effects at elevated drive levels. The silk dome’s flexibility and damping characteristics yield extended, linear response above 2 kHz with gentle roll-off. Acoustically validated for balanced spectral output, these tweeters reproduce high frequencies with transparency and nuance, integrating well with midrange sources. Their design prioritises reliability in real-world home audio applications, particularly in bookshelf or nearfield monitor builds. Due to their sensitivity profile and dispersion pattern, they are not suited for large-format systems using 8-inch or bigger woofers, where power and coverage mismatch may occur.
