34mm Threadless CNC Aluminum Headset

A 34mm outer diameter, threadless headset built from CNC-machined aluminum alloy for reliable performance and reduced weight. The forged shell undergoes precision machining to ensure accurate bearing seat alignment and uniform wall thickness, enhancing longevity and ride feel. Typical unit weight is 120g, supporting modern lightweight frame design goals. Includes two matched stainless steel sealed bearings — upper and lower — selected for consistent radial and axial load capacity. Their double-lip seals retain factory grease and exclude fine particulates, sustaining smooth operation across seasonal UK conditions including rain, mud, and urban grime. Fits standard 34mm internal head tube bores found on contemporary mountain and road bikes using 1-1/8" steerer tubes. Verified compatibility with head tubes having 6mm wall thickness — a key specification often overlooked in budget headsets, leading to poor press-fit retention or frame damage during installation.
