Turn the fan on and set the speed control to the setting where wobble is most noticeable. 2. Turn off the fan and wait for it to stop completely. Select one blade and place the balance clip halfway between the blade holder and blade tip, along the trailing edge. 3. Turn the fan on and observe whether the wobble increases or decreases. Turn the fan off, move the clip to another blade, and repeat the test. Continue testing all blades and note which blade shows the greatest improvement. 4. Place the clip back on the blade that showed the greatest improvement. Move the clip inward and outward along that blade while operating the fan to find the position delivering the best result. 5. Remove the clip and apply a balancing weight to the top of the blade along the centerline, near the position where the clip was placed. 6.
