40cm Green Handmade Flower Stems

These 40 cm floral stems are made from iron wire with a durable paper wrap in a true-to-life green tone. The wire is thickened by 2 mm to improve rigidity while retaining full flexibility for shaping. Each stem is straight-cut and uniform in diameter, with no coating flaking or colour transfer. The paper layer adds subtle texture and prevents direct metal contact with glue or tape, improving adhesion. The 2 mm-thickened core resists deformation when supporting layered silk or foam flowers, yet bends smoothly without spring-back — enabling accurate petal placement and tight spiral wraps. The green hue is consistent across all 50 pieces, tested under daylight and indoor lighting to avoid undertones that clash with common foliage like eucalyptus or ivy. Widely applied in UK-based floristry training courses, bridal prep studios, and school DT departments. Also used by small-batch gift box makers to reinforce ribbon-wrapped stems and by community art groups for accessible, low-mess crafting — especially valuable where soldering, heat tools or solvents must be avoided.
