4PCS Drainage Mesh Cover Brown

Four brown mesh soil protectors, each measuring 20 cm in diameter and constructed from non-woven polypropylene with uniform 3 mm aperture spacing. Weight per piece is under 12 g — light enough to settle naturally on loose compost yet substantial enough to resist displacement by light wind or casual brushing. Mesh density balances filtration and flow: fine enough to retain fine-grade potting mix, coarse enough to avoid trapping silt or organic debris over time. Installation requires zero preparation — lay flat on settled soil before planting or after repotting. Edges rest flush against inner pot walls, creating a continuous cap over the growing medium. Reusable across multiple seasons: simply rinse and air-dry between uses. Not intended for direct ground application or raised beds — engineered exclusively for container use. Commonly paired with self-watering pots, hydroponic hybrids and heritage-style clay containers. Especially suited to UK gardeners managing multiple small-scale crops — salad greens, edible flowers and dwarf citrus — where consistent moisture control and visual tidiness are daily priorities.
