A compact 50mm diameter black metal pad engineered for astronomers who require reliable mechanical interface between star guide rings and dovetail mounting systems. Measuring 50mm in diameter with consistent thickness and weighing ~85g, it is machined from durable metal for repeated use under field conditions. Its function is to provide horizontal padding and mechanical stability: when the upper dovetail plate hole is unthreaded, users pass a screw rod upward through the pad positioned underneath the plate, then thread it into the guide ring’s native screw holes. Supplied as a single unit; no additional hardware or accessories included. Note: colour may vary slightly due to screen settings; dimensional tolerance is ±1–3cm.
