57mm Transparent Scope Cover Flip-Up

Dimensions: 57mm OD × 8.5mm height (closed). Material: UV-stabilised transparent thermoplastic. Hinge: Integrated living hinge with reinforced pivot zone. Weight: 13.6g (measured average). Surface hardness: Shore D 82 — balances scratch resistance with impact absorption. Engineered to remain functional after repeated drops onto hard surfaces (tested on concrete and laminate flooring), retaining lid alignment and spring return consistency. Transparency measured at >92% visible light transmission — supports passive lens inspection without cover removal. Commonly deployed on entry-level to mid-tier optics used in UK cadet forces, school shooting clubs, and home-range practice — where cost-conscious buyers prioritise proven mechanical reliability over cosmetic finishes or branding.
