6 Inch Sharp 440C Barber Scissors

These 6-inch barber scissors are manufactured from certified 440C stainless steel, hardened to 58–60 HRC and finished with a mirror-polished surface to resist moisture retention and facilitate cleaning. Total weight remains below 120g, with mass concentrated near the pivot to enhance responsiveness and reduce rotational inertia. The handles adopt an eccentric configuration: the thumb ring is offset vertically to align with natural thumb flexion, while the finger ring includes a recessed rest for the ring finger — promoting neutral wrist posture and reducing ulnar deviation. Blades are laser-aligned and honed to sub-0.1mm tolerance, enabling clean separation of individual strands without tugging or fraying. Ideal for both wet cutting and dry sculpting, they perform reliably on virgin, bleached, or keratin-treated hair. The non-slip grip pattern is moulded directly into the handle material — not added as a coating — ensuring long-term tactile consistency and hygiene-friendly cleanability. Developed for sustained use, this design prioritises biomechanical efficiency over aesthetic flourishes, supporting stylist endurance and cut accuracy across full-day schedules or weekly home maintenance routines.
