6 Ohm 30W Silk Dome Tweeter Pair

This pair of 1.5-inch high-frequency drivers features a 6 ohm nominal impedance and 30W continuous power handling. Physical dimensions include a 52mm panel diameter, 23mm height, 34mm cutout diameter, 45mm diagonal mounting hole spacing, and 3mm panel thickness. Core materials comprise a black silk dome, neodymium (NdFeB) magnet assembly, toothed pure aluminium heat sink, and ABS matte front panel. The NdFeB magnet provides superior magnetic energy density over traditional magnets, enhancing electromechanical efficiency and dynamic accuracy. The aluminium heat sink is directly coupled to the voice coil structure to manage thermal load — critical for maintaining linearity during prolonged playback. The silk dome’s inherent damping properties contribute to low-distortion, wide-dispersion treble. Tuned for neutral, detailed high-end response with strong midrange coherence, these tweeters suit DIY speaker projects where fidelity and integration matter most. Their moderate sensitivity and 6 ohm rating make them compatible with many standard Hi-Fi amplifiers and crossover networks. Use is advised with woofers smaller than 8 inches to preserve system balance and prevent phase or output mismatches.
