Adjustable Paddle Flow Switch

Mechanical paddle-type water flow switch with fully adjustable sensitivity — settable between 30 and 500 ml/min to match varying pipe sizes, pump curves and system flow profiles. Constructed from reinforced nylon for long-term resilience against thermal cycling, water hammer and chemical exposure. Dimensions: ~4 × 7 cm; compatible with 100V supply and 0.5A load. Ambient operating range: -10°C to 100°C; water medium withstands up to 120°C. Max pressure rating: 1 MPa. Connection method: threaded, enabling quick integration into copper, PEX or composite piping. Unlike fixed-threshold models, this unit allows field tuning to avoid nuisance tripping in low-flow zones (e.g., underfloor heating manifolds) or ensure positive detection in high-velocity primary circuits. The paddle geometry minimises turbulence while maximising torque transfer to the internal microswitch — resulting in crisp, repeatable actuation without bounce or chatter. Deployed across diverse applications: ASHP buffer tank recirculation lines, instantaneous water heater feed verification, swimming pool heat exchanger monitoring, and coffee machine boiler safety interlocks — wherever physical flow presence must be confirmed before power-on.
