Adjustable Red Dot Telescope Finder Compact

This red dot star finder scope is made from sturdy plastic and weighs just 125g (4.41oz), ensuring minimal load on smaller telescope tubes. It features a red dot laser projected onto a clear, non-magnifying viewing surface, powered by a built-in CR1632 lithium battery (120mAh, included). Designed for Celestron P Series 80EQ and SCTW 80 models, it attaches directly using standard mounting hardware. Its adjustable brightness setting maintains dot visibility across lighting conditions — from twilight field use to fully dark environments — while the finger wheel allows fine-tuned horizontal and vertical dot positioning. A simple levelling knob ensures correct orientation before mounting, improving alignment consistency across sessions. The absence of magnification removes image reversal and reduces cognitive load during target acquisition. Combined with its lightweight build and intuitive controls, it serves as a dependable aiming reference for visual observers, astrophotographers doing manual framing, and educators demonstrating basic celestial navigation.
