Increases vertical offset between telescope tube and mount interface — facilitating smoother slewing, safer meridian transitions, and easier access to rear-mounted controls. Dual-threaded mounting holes support M6 or 1/4-inch screws. Includes two M6 screws (one short, one long) and two 1/4-inch screws (one short, one long) — addressing variability in ring base thickness and dovetail plate depth across manufacturers.
