Aluminium Tube Wind Chime

A minimalist round wind chime composed of a solid wood disc (20 cm diameter) and ten evenly spaced aluminium tubes. Total assembled height is approx. 65 cm; net weight approx. 480 g. The wood element is finished with a traditional red decorative pattern, while the aluminium components are untreated but naturally oxide-resistant — requiring zero chemical coatings or maintenance. Tubes are vertically suspended from the wooden plate using durable nylon cord, allowing free rotation and optimal airflow capture. Their lengths vary incrementally to produce layered tonal variation — not monotone clang — resulting in organic, evolving soundscapes that shift with wind intensity. Designed for multi-environment use: equally effective hung beneath a garden gazebo, beside a French window, above a kitchen herb rack, or in a quiet reading nook. Its clean silhouette avoids visual overload, fitting seamlessly into Scandinavian, Japandi, cottagecore or contemporary UK interior schemes.
