Angled Silicone Hydration Valve

Fixed 90-degree geometry optimised for forward-facing mouth alignment; outer diameter at base: 14 mm; silicone durometer: Shore A 30 for balanced softness and response; PP base rated for 500+ insertion cycles. The valve opens fully with light bite pressure (≤ 1.5 N), delivering ~15 ml/s flow rate — calibrated for efficient hydration without over-drinking or flow interruption. Surface texture minimises lip slippage during sweaty activity, while internal channel shape prevents airlock formation during rapid drawdown. Field-tested across varied UK terrain: muddy cross-country runs, exposed coastal hikes, urban commute cycling and limestone cragging — consistently rated for ease-of-use and longevity versus stock valves supplied with mid-tier hydration packs.
