ASTILBE \nPeach Blossom \nOne of the mainstays of damp, shaded or woodland gardens Astilbe is also known as False Goats Beard or False Spiraea. \nThe lustrous, shiny, mid-green, feathery, fern like foliage of Astilbe Peach Blossom unfurls in spring and is followed in early summer by dense, upright plumes of light peach or blush pink flowers. \nThese delicate airy spires of flowers are a magnificent sight as they sway gracefully in even the slightest of summer breezes. \nFilling the garden with beauty like no other flower, the showy panicles or plumes of feathery flowers can be up to 30cm long and the lush filigree foliage helps make Peach Blossom a thing of beauty. \nAlthough Astilbe can tolerate some sun they thrive best when planted in a damp shaded border or beside water but Peach Blossom is more tolerant of dry conditions than many others. \nThis compact variety can also be grown in pots and containers and is great for mass plantings. \nExcellent when used as a cut flower. \nAstilbe is a great choice for attracting butterflies to the garden. \nAll pictures used are of mature plants in full bloom and are for illustration purposes only, they may not reflect plants at all times of the year. \nOur plants of Astilbe Peach Blossom are supplied ex. 9cm pots, they can be planted out immediately but better results may be obtained if they are grown on for a short time in a slightly larger container before transplanting to their final growing positions \nRiver Lady has produced a wonderful little on this variety, you can view it here \nPACK 1 PLANT \nIMMEDIATE \n \n and view our wide and varied range of  Perennials  \nWe ask all our buyers to remember Astilbe plants are living items and their appearance changes with the seasons.  Please don’t panic if the plant you receive looks different to the image on the website.
