Bass Drum Adjustable Port Insert

An ergonomic, two-material port insert combining rigid ABS support structure and tactile rubber contact surfaces, plus a dedicated protective sticker for the bass drum resonant head. Sized for typical port diameters (15–23 cm), with outer dimensions ~18 cm × 2.5 cm and weight ~120 g. Designed specifically for acoustic bass drums with front-head ports — not compatible with closed or non-ported configurations. The insert functions as both a physical guard and an acoustic regulator: its adjustable profile changes the effective length and volume of the internal air column, yielding tighter low-end focus and improved transient response. The rubber interface prevents scratching or pressure marks on the head, while the ABS body withstands repeated insertion/removal without deformation. Sticker application is quick, residue-free, and fully reversible. Favoured by UK-based educators for student drum kits — where head replacement costs add up quickly — and by gigging musicians needing reliable, no-fuss port management across weekly venue changes.
