Global connectivity based on the BG95-M3 main module, supporting LTE Cat M1 / LTE Cat NB2 / EGPRS for worldwide coverage and low-power IoT operation. Onboard 40PIN GPIO header compatible with most Raspberry Pi HATs. 5 LEDs indicate module operating status for quick health checks. Onboard Type-C port for easy development with a USB Type-C cable. Supports PPP, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, FTP(S), HTTP(S), NITZ, PING, MQTT, LwM2M, CoAP, IPv6 protocols, and more for flexible networking and IoT applications. GNSS positioning support (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS) for accurate location data. Onboard nano SIM slot supports 1.8V SIM cards, located near the board edge for easy insertion and removal. Includes development tools such as QPYcom, Thonny IDE plugin, and VSCode plugin to facilitate learning and rapid development. Use cases: - Remote asset tracking and telemetry in logistics or smart city projects, leveraging GNSS, MQTT, and IPv6 connectivity. - Field-deployed IoT sensors for environmental monitoring, with Cat M1/NB2 coverage and secure data transmission via TLS/HTTPS. - Prototyping and development with Raspberry Pi HATs, using the 40PIN GPIO header, USB-C development connection, and quick SIM management.
