Biodegradable Wheat Straw Appetizer Picks

This set contains 16 functional appetizer picks made entirely from compressed wheat straw — a by-product of cereal farming, repurposed into durable, food-grade utensils. Each pick measures approx. 10 cm, with a consistent diameter of 2.5 mm and a softly finished tip. The accompanying storage tube is also made from wheat straw (approx. 8 cm tall × 5 cm wide), reinforcing material continuity and sustainability. Weight per set is ~35 g. Fully compostable under industrial conditions, yet stable for repeated short-term use with cold or room-temperature foods. Suitable for fruit skewering, cheese sampling, cocktail stirring, and cake decoration — especially where visual harmony and tactile gentleness matter most. Not intended for hot or acidic foods exceeding 40°C or prolonged soaking.
