Brass 20mm Flexible Coupling 3mm To 3.17mm

Five-piece brass flexible shaft coupling kit, each unit measuring exactly 20 mm in length and 9 mm in outer diameter. Internally tapered to accept shafts from 3.0 mm up to 3.17 mm—matching widely used metric and imperial motor spindle sizes. Crafted from solid brass for inherent density, machinability, and resistance to environmental wear. The 20 mm length balances flexibility and rigidity: long enough to accommodate slight shaft misalignment, yet short enough to minimise rotational inertia and bending moment in high-speed or low-torque setups. Surface finish is naturally smooth—no additional plating or coating required. Frequently applied in retrofitting vintage equipment (e.g., lathe accessories), upgrading aquarium pump drives, and assembling modular lab fixtures where long-term dimensional fidelity matters more than initial cost savings.
