Brass Inline Sediment Filter 40-Mesh

Dimensions: Approx. 12 cm (L) × 6 cm (D), weight: ~380 g. Constructed from solid brass with a gold-toned finish and a transparent polycarbonate filter bowl. Features a reusable 40-mesh 304 stainless steel screen (125 µm nominal pore size). Includes 1/2-inch NPT and 3/4-inch GHT threaded adapters for flexible installation. Compatible with hot and cold water up to 60°C. Designed for washing machines, dishwashers, garden hoses, showers, RVs, boats, and irrigation systems using municipal tap water. The 40-mesh stainless steel mesh effectively captures sand, rust flakes, silt, and other suspended particulates before they enter appliances or plumbing. This reduces internal scaling, prevents nozzle and valve clogging, and helps maintain consistent water flow and appliance efficiency over time. Ideal for UK households with older plumbing, hard water areas, or properties supplied via shared or rural water lines where sediment ingress is common. Visual inspection through the clear bowl allows quick assessment of filter loading — no tools needed for routine checks. Easy maintenance: the filter element slides out without disconnecting the housing or draining lines.
