This is a long-stem replacement cartridge for Hudson Reed three-way shower valves. If the shower valve has a thermostatic cartridge, one of these ceramic cartridges is typically installed on each side of the cartridge. Therefore, if you need two cartridges, you will need to purchase two, as the cartridges are sold separately. This cartridge is 3/4 inch. The switch is controlled by rotating a ceramic disc counter-clockwise. (Cold end - closes counterclockwise) This CD valve core has a threaded collar.
