Compact Wooden Drop Spindle Tool

Measuring 32.5 cm in overall length and 7 cm in whorl width (12.8 × 2.76 inches), this compact, lightweight drop spindle is made from solid wood for lasting durability and comfortable handling. Its top-whorl configuration ensures steady rotation and efficient twist transfer, while the integrated notch on the whorl provides reliable yarn anchorage during spinning. Ideal for home-based fibre preparation, it supports winding spools of hand-spun yarn from raw wool strips — such as the included 70s-grade roll — for use in crochet, knitting, and other handmade textile crafts. Suitable for all skill levels, from those exploring spinning for the first time to seasoned makers seeking a portable, no-power tool for on-the-go yarn creation.
