Cotton Pre-Filter Sponge 6 Pack

Each sponge measures 8 x 4 x 2.2 cm and weighs approximately 12 g. Made from soft, porous cotton material — not synthetic foam — for gentle yet effective mechanical filtration. Designed to fit snugly inside water inlet baskets of internal or external aquarium filters. Captures fine debris, uneaten food, and particulate matter before they reach the main filter media, reducing maintenance frequency and extending the service life of carbon, ceramic rings, or bio-media. Prevents small aquatic life — including fry, shrimp, and dwarf snails — from being sucked into the intake. Compatible with both freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems. Easy to rinse and reuse without disintegration.
