Double Layer 304 SS Honey Straining Sieve

Engineered for durability and functional precision, this double-layer honey sieve uses only 304 stainless steel — no alloys, no plating, no compromises. Outer layer: laser-cut 1.2 mm perforated disc; inner layer: tensioned 150 µm woven mesh fixed within a reinforced annular frame. Total dimensions: 12 cm top diameter, 5 cm vertical profile, 85 g mass. All edges are deburred and polished to eliminate snagging or honey adhesion points. The two-stage system operates on hydraulic separation principles: high-viscosity honey spreads evenly across the coarse screen, shedding macro-debris before entering the fine mesh zone — where laminar flow and uniform pore distribution ensure even particle capture without channeling or preferential paths. Result: predictable clarity, minimal operator intervention, and repeatable results batch after batch. Field-tested across southern England and Scotland: functions effectively with cool, crystallised honey (gentle warming only), warm summer runs, and filtered cappings melt. Works with stainless funnels, polypropylene buckets, glass carboys, and custom bottling rigs — requiring no additional fixtures or calibration.
