DSLR Shutter Cable Rubber Lid

A functional replacement rubber top lid door intended for DSLR camera models Nikon D3, D3S, and D3X. Constructed from high-compliance black rubber, this part restores the protective cover over the shutter cable routing area on the camera’s upper housing. Its compact size (approx. 45 mm × 28 mm × 8 mm) and lightweight design (≈8 g) ensure compatibility with factory tolerances. The material provides elasticity for repeated opening/closing and resistance to compression set under normal use. This lid serves both aesthetic and functional roles: preserving the integrity of the top plate assembly and safeguarding the delicate shutter cable from external stressors such as impact, grit, or incidental contact during lens changes or grip handling.
