Dual-Output Optical DAC

A purpose-built digital-to-analog converter for stereo audio extraction from optical or coaxial digital sources. Converts S/PDIF input (PCM/LPCM only) into analog line-level output via RCA (L/R) and 3.5mm stereo jack — both outputs active at the same time. Supports sample rates up to 96 kHz at 24-bit resolution. Engineered with EMI-resistant PCB layout and signal-squelch functionality to ensure silent operation during input dropout. Powered by standard USB 5V supply. Compatible with UK-market entertainment devices: Freeview TVs, Sky Q, PS3, Blu-ray players, AV receivers and computer audio interfaces. Enclosure made from CNC-machined black aluminium alloy for rigidity and thermal efficiency. Includes optical TOSLINK cable and USB power cable.
