Durable ABS Timed Lock Box For Cessation

Dimensions: Not disclosed; Weight: Not disclosed; Capacity: Suited for typical cigarette packs (as per described use case); Material: Sturdy ABS plastic. This device functions as a physical commitment device: users set a digital timer before closing the lid, initiating a hard lock that cannot be undone until time expires. It does not rely on user honesty or memory — the hardware itself enforces the boundary. This supports evidence-based cessation approaches centred on increasing delay between triggers and responses. The ABS enclosure provides measurable improvements in structural resilience — resisting denting, cracking, or warping when subjected to typical environmental stresses like backpack friction, desk drawer stacking, or brief floor impacts — ensuring cigarettes remain undamaged and accessible only at the scheduled time.
