Durable Metal Solar Filter for Telescopes

This solar filter is fabricated entirely from metal with no glue, no formaldehyde, and no bonded components — ensuring structural integrity and chemical inertness. It installs via a threaded metal ring that screws directly onto the telescope’s objective lens housing, delivering a permanent, vibration-resistant connection. There is no black glued pressing ring, no risk of edge lift, and no degradation over time. Compatible with reflector, refractor, and compound telescopes, it supports safe solar, lunar, and planetary observation. Correct sizing requires measuring the outer diameter of the objective lens: typical applications include the Celestron 127SLT (146 mm OD) requiring the 160 mm filter, and the Celestron 8SE (235 mm OD) needing the 250 mm variant. The ‘Type: 100mm’ indicates standard classification within the solar filter category. Package includes one composite membrane filter only — no adapters, tools, or documentation beyond essential fit notes.
