Durable Propolis Removal Tool

Sturdy, compact chisel scraper tailored for frequent propolis and wax management in UK and EU beehives. Dimensions approx. 15 cm × 2.5 cm × 1.8 cm; weight approx. 232 g. Blade is forged metal with a sharp, narrow chisel profile; handle is shaped for palm engagement and slip resistance—even with light gloves or damp hands. Fully compatible with National, Langstroth and WBC hive systems. Designed for high-frequency contact tasks: removing propolis from frame lugs and box rabbets, cleaning wax from feeder ports and inner cover vents, and carefully prying apart frames sealed by burr comb. Its low-force operation preserves hive structure while speeding up inspection workflows. Blade remains effective after repeated contact with acidic propolis and oxidised wax residues. Recommended for weekly hive checks, swarm prevention routines and end-of-season deep cleans. Use with smooth, gliding motions—not stabbing or twisting—and always follow up with a dry cloth wipe. Store in a ventilated, low-humidity area to sustain edge longevity across seasons.
