E-Type 1x Chain Stabiliser Nylon Build

An E-type mounted chain stabiliser tailored for 1x mountain bike drivetrains. Fits seat tubes sized 31.8–34.9 mm (1.25–1.37 inches) and works seamlessly with one-piece sprocket systems. Total weight is approximately 45.3 g, achieved through intelligent material selection: a hybrid of engineering-grade nylon, reinforcing fibre, and impact-modified plastic. Its functional highlight is the dual-profile tooth design—positive teeth engage the outer chain plate while negative teeth cradle the inner plate—creating a self-centring effect that corrects minor chain misalignment in real time. This contributes directly to smoother pedalling, reduced drivetrain wear, and fewer mid-ride interruptions caused by dropped chains. Installation is straightforward and non-invasive: simply position, clamp, and adjust using a standard 4 mm or 5 mm wrench. The black finish is UV-stable and texture-optimised to conceal trail grime—maintaining clean appearance between washes. A practical solution for commuters, trail riders, and weekend adventurers across the UK and EU.
