Easy Install Marine Cable Boot Weatherproof

Compact, high-fidelity marine cable boot engineered specifically for UK and European boat engine rigging. Made from marine-grade EPDM rubber (EN 60811 compliant), it measures 85 mm × 32 mm, weighs 42 g, and accepts 6–8 mm diameter control cables. Features a seamless, tapered body with a thickened sealing lip that compresses evenly upon installation — forming a watertight interface between cable and engine housing. No adhesive, clamp, or tool needed: simply slide onto cable and seat firmly against housing flange. The material’s low compression set ensures long-term seal retention even after repeated thermal cycling. Designed to replace failing boots on gear shifters, throttle controls, and remote steering actuators — especially where cables exit through aluminium, stainless, or composite transom plates. Validated for continuous immersion up to 1 m depth (IEC 60529 IPX6 equivalent), making it suitable for vessels subjected to wave slap, bow rise, and deck flooding — common in UK Channel crossings and Solent-based operations.
