Eco Beeswax Bread Storage Bags

Two premium reusable bread bags built from GOTS-certified organic cotton and finished with a natural, food-contact-approved coating of beeswax, jojoba oil, and tree resin. Measuring 17 inches × 12 inches (43 cm × 30 cm), they offer generous capacity for standard UK loaf sizes — including round sourdough boules, oval sandwich loaves, and long baguettes. The cotton base provides structural integrity, while the wax blend delivers gentle tackiness for secure closure and responsive moisture management. This system mimics traditional linen bread cloths but adds functional innovation: the wax layer enhances barrier properties without sacrificing breathability — slowing down starch retrogradation and surface desiccation more effectively than uncoated fabrics or parchment paper. Ideal for households baking weekly, buying from neighbourhood bakeries, or managing bulk-baked goods. Use in pantry for short-term freshness, fridge for extended softness, or freezer for long-term retention of flavour and texture — all while eliminating recurring plastic bag purchases and disposal costs.
